William and Mary oyster veneered cabinet on stand, late 17th Century. Moulded cross grain cornice above a pair of oyster veneered doors opening to shelved and compartmented interior. Wonderful veneer workmanship made more than 300 years ago, beautiful design technique and it would make any room interesting. Could easily be used for modern day functions.
The stand is later with to short drawers raised on tapered legs joined by curved stretchers on bun feet, well matched.
