Gow Antiques and Restoration was established by Jeremy Gow in 1992. Having spent nine years working in different workshops in Scotland, France, Austria and Australia, Jeremy came back to start his own business at his family home near Forfar in Scotland.
Jeremy is proud to be a full member of the British Antique Furniture Restoration Association (BAFRA), and is one of two accredited BAFRA members based in Scotland.
BAFRA is a national organisation of craftsmen and women, which was set up in 1979 to maintain the highest standard in conservation and restoration. All members have to pass a rigorous assessment before becoming a member of BAFRA (www.bafra.org.uk)
Gow Antiques is also a member of Icon formally the Conservation Register in association with Historic Scotland. Since starting up we have restored many fine pieces of furniture for Stately Homes, Royal Palaces, Museums, National Trust for Scotland, National Galleries and many private clients.
